Orange & Honey Glazed Salmon
A zesty and slightly sweet salmon dish perfect for a light yet flavorful meal.
Ingredients:
2 salmon fillets
1/4 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp coconut aminos
1 tsp grated orange zest
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp ginger, grated
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp lard or tallow
Instructions:
In a small bowl, whisk together orange juice, honey, soy sauce, orange zest, garlic, and ginger.
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then sear for 3-4 minutes on each side.
Pour the orange glaze over the salmon and let it simmer until slightly thickened (about 2 minutes).
Serve with steamed rice or roasted veggies.
