Orange & Honey Glazed Salmon

A zesty and slightly sweet salmon dish perfect for a light yet flavorful meal.

Ingredients:

  • 2 salmon fillets

  • 1/4 cup fresh squeezed orange juice

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp coconut aminos

  • 1 tsp grated orange zest

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1/2 tsp ginger, grated

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 tbsp lard or tallow

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together orange juice, honey, soy sauce, orange zest, garlic, and ginger.

  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

  3. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then sear for 3-4 minutes on each side.

  4. Pour the orange glaze over the salmon and let it simmer until slightly thickened (about 2 minutes).

  5. Serve with steamed rice or roasted veggies.
