Ancient-Style Spiced Meatballs with Yogurt Mint Sauce
Inspired by older-than-time flavors—think cumin, coriander, cinnamon. Feed the wild goddess in you.
Ingredients:
1 lb ground lamb or beef
1 small onion, grated
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon coriander
Salt & pepper
Olive oil for frying
For the sauce:
1 cup plain greek yogurt
2 tablespoons chopped mint
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Pinch of salt
Instructions:
Mix meatball ingredients and roll into small balls.
Sear in a skillet or grill until browned and cooked through.
Mix sauce ingredients and serve alongside.
