Ancient-Style Spiced Meatballs with Yogurt Mint Sauce

Inspired by older-than-time flavors—think cumin, coriander, cinnamon. Feed the wild goddess in you.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground lamb or beef

  • 1 small onion, grated

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon cumin

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon coriander

  • Salt & pepper

  • Olive oil for frying

For the sauce:

  • 1 cup plain greek yogurt

  • 2 tablespoons chopped mint

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Mix meatball ingredients and roll into small balls.

  2. Sear in a skillet or grill until browned and cooked through.

  3. Mix sauce ingredients and serve alongside.
